PAGENAME, abbreviated as LU, is the main story to the Cloudverse's lore.
Plot Summary
The story is heavily focused on a mysterious facility named the Pinewood Research Facilities, which for a long time has been famous for their latest gadgets and innovations when it comes to robotics, medicine, and gadgets, but are also infamous for their allegations regarding supposed unethical human experimentation hidden from the public eye. Such allegations have been haunting them for years, even going so far as many companies they were once partnered with have cut ties with the problematic company, as it was making a stain on their own reputation, and are trying to erase any associations they've ever had with them.
The allegations, despite being too outdated to look into as they are more than at least twenty years old, were actually true, and it was only now in the year 2020 that they were being looked into, and what comes out were gruesome acts the company had tried to sweep under the rug.
The story has since been split into separate acts, being named and coded with the first three letters of the Greek alphabet, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.
Alpha Act / Sound and Silence
Main article: Sound and Silence
In a regular London winter in the '80s, a man named Yann Battiloro founded and lead the Pinewood Research Facilities company, and from there on it quickly gained traction as they presented to the public their latest inventions and innovations regarding medicine and technology at the time. A few years after the fact, though, Yann was found guilty for supposedly killing off his colleague, Joseph Brewer, and a kid named Wilt Wells who was declared missing from a fair a few days before. From then on, another colleague of Yann, Abel Dyer, would take over the company for the next few decades. A lot have said the company's inventions have improved greatly over the course of Abel's leadership, however with the present news, it would soon come that Abel had dark intent with what the company created, and it is obvious his corrupt influence was still persistent after forty years.
The year is 2006, and a young girl named Audrey Waterworth, known in her time for being a famous young actor from her town Sapir, was invited by a "Sanctuary Studios" to be interviewed for what was said to be the big act that will make her return to acting, as at the time she was taking a break after a car crash broke her leg and killed her father. She took on the opportunity, and together with her mother she visits them to see where this interview will take her.
Months after the fact, neither Audrey or her mother were seen return, which made all the townsfolk worry, which did include her former acting partner, Beth Euler. As she was still in worry for her friend, she then got an invite that said she was invited to audition for a music talent show, to which she was overjoyed because this gave her the opportunity to pursue in her ambition of becoming a famous musician. She accepted the invitation, prepared herself, and boarded on a special bus that will take her to the audition for the interview. The bus, to her surprise, was filled with people also being invited to somewhere, but everyone's invitations differed greatly as to where they were being taken, which in the middle of the trip sent the people to a panic that they all may be scammed or baited into something.
The bus disappeared for a week, which lead to people making search parties for the people who had boarded the bus that day. But one day nine of the total twenty or so people return, and they have their own stories and regrets to tell.
Beta Act / Miscounted Trust
Main article: Miscounted Trust
The town of Pythagor has had its fair share of disappearances and mysteries, but the latest one takes the cake and has haunted the town for nearly five years.
<br> A girl named Wendy Rey is forever haunted by the fact the disappearance case of her cousin Opal Padmore, as well as eight other students within their local high school, is still unsolved after years. Even with the investigators losing hope of ever finding the nine again, there was still demand to keep the case open by most of the townsfolk. It's just rather concerning that Wendy's parents don't seem to care much about the disappearance of their niece much as her aunt and uncle are, and teaming up with a few locals around her age, they try to investigate the matters as to why there were some not minding the fact people disappeared. And there was this cult case as well, but it seemed like a completely separate issue, until the evidence they do find connects all the dots.
Gamma Act / The Spectral Pattern
Main article: The Spectral Pattern
It's the year 2018, and the Pinewood Research Facilities have recently mastered creating multiple variants of a serum said to amplify and adjust a person's emotions. With multiple colour variations for the serum leading to different amplified emotions, it was bound to be tested on a living with rational thoughts just to find out how much of it would affect them, and the scientists have decided to test the serums on each other.
<br>It then came one summer when a Bronwyn Kokkonen just moved to the town of Lilius to get closer to the company to investigate them, as she suspects they were the culprits behind the Pythagor kidnappings. As she and a few friends have ventured towards where the company may be, they haven't been seen since, which the Lilius townsfolk have claimed was the "beginning of their problems."
It was then in January of 2020, when a young woman named Brooke Evans moved into town, to which a lot of long-residing residents have stated she acted a lot like Bronwyn from before, and feared she may repeat her actions. However, Brooke moved to Lilius to get away from the kidnapping investigations, unlike Bronwyn, as she once tried to investigate it herself before and it ended with her security being threatened by what could be the kidnappings' culprits.
<br>All is well for her until six people were suddenly taken in one night, all leaving a note claiming they were "worthy of testing out a few of their exercises." This leads to the conclusion the Pinewood Research Facilities are still at large, using these six people to test out their experimental serum to see how it would affect a person's thinking and motor skills. Brooke, despite her hesitance, is forced back into investigating but now with these particular kidnappings, wondering where exactly they get to the Pinewood Research Facilities from there to take the victims back, what exactly they have planned for them, and why it had to be those six people in particular.
Trivia
* The story's name used to be Ocean's Faults, and waa a play on words, being a reference to oceanic transformation faults, but also in reference to the story's overall conflict on the wrongdoings of a company named after an aquatic being.
** Of course, this was back when the Pinewood Research Facilities was named the Coral Facilities, so the name had to be changed around as well.

Miscounted Trust, better known as the Beta Act, is considered the second act of Lessons Unlearned, succeeding the Alpha act Sound and Silence and preceding the Gamma act The Spectral Pattern.
Plot Summary

Besides from her relation with Brooke, she is the eldest child of the Rey family, and was fond of recording videos and collecting memorabilia wherever she went, and has been committing to it since childhood. The Spectral Pattern, better known as the Gamma Act, is considered the third and final act of Lessons Unlearned, succeeding both the Alpha act Sound and Silence and the Beta act Miscounted Trust.
Plot Summary

Investigation Group
* <span style="color:#7F4720;">Brooke Evans</span> (she/her) - She was a college student in criminology for about two years, and studied in a town called Pythagor, where she would often share to the internet about the current mystery regarding nine teenagers who disappeared in her home town years ago, her insights on the mystery, and how she can help solve it. She would also tell her insights on another mystery regarding the neighboring town Sapir, but one day she shares a bit too much about what she knows to the point someone threatens her to take down her opinions else they dox her. After finding out the threat was within her town, she had to leave the town for her safety to Lilius. In Lilius, she thought it would've been a good opportunity to take a break from the mystery solving, until she gets a hold of Bronwyn's journal, and everything leads her back to her business. Though she has no idea that by going back to mystery solving, she is doomed to repeat Bronwyn's mistakes and doesn't realize it until it's too late.
* <span style="color:#FD988D;">Pino Blomqvist Ushe</span> (he/him) - One of the first people Brooke had befriended when she first arrived in Lilius. He was a man with a kind heart and with dreams of becoming either a theater actor or a dancer. He was also noted by the Lilius townsfolk to be very vocal on his opinions on how to improve the town's flaws and the like. As much as he wanted to admit it, he got a bit interested in the mysteries Brooke was looking into, but suppressed it when Brooke was still taking her mind off it for a short while.
* <span style="color:#00E1DA;">Cera Henry</span> (she/her) - Is Bridget's younger sister. == Trivia ==
* The town name, Lilius, was taken from Aloysius Lilius, who is most well known for providing a proposal for the current Gregorian calendar.
* It was confirmed by Al at one point that the town of Lilius' main theming centers around time and colours.
* Brooke and Bronwyn are meant to be written as parallels to each other, as both wanted to solve the same mysteries, but one knew when it was supposed to be time to take a break from it all, and the other wanted to know more, which ended with her missing and possibly being dead.
** In addition, Pia and Pino are also meant to be parallels.
* Rena and Sage's palettes are inspired by Valentine's Day and the Christmas holiday. The two actually have a liking to the aforementioned events.
* Rena is also confirmed to be aromantic, only liking Valentine's Day for the cute, lovey-dovey aesthetics it has and not any of it's romantic themes.
* Percy's last name, Williams, was taken from William Afton from Five Nights at Freddy's, Al's reason for taking such was to reference how both characters are coded with the colour <span style="color:#704B95;">purple</span>.
* Pia's middle and last name, Baker Miller, is an intended reference to the colour <span style="color:#FF91AF;">Baker-Miller pink</span>.
* The colour palettes of Rena, Olwyn, Yvo, Greta, Bello, and Percy used to be monotonous palettes of their assigned colours, but it has since been changed around. As of current their palette is meant to reference their assigned colours' mixing and components.
** Rena's and Bello's colour palettes are reflection of their assigned colours' components in the CMY model, with Rena's being a slightly warmer variant of yellow and magenta (making red), and Bello's being a duller and darker version of magenta and cyan (making blue.)
** Yvo's green and red references making yellow in the RGB model.
** Olwyn, Greta, and Percy's palettes reference their assigned colour's components in the RYB colour model, mainly seen with Greta's yellow and blues (making green) and Percy having darker versions of red and blue in his palette (making purple). Olwyn also follows this principle, with her curren design consisting of reds and yellows, but she still keeps some oranges from her previous palette as to match with Owen.
** Cera and Madison also follow the RGB formula, as Madison has bright reds and blues (making magenta) and Sera has cooler greens and blues (making cyan).

The Spectral Pattern, better known as the Gamma Act, is considered the third and final act of Lessons Unlearned, succeeding both the Alpha act Sound and Silence and the Beta act Miscounted Trust.
Plot Summary
It's the year 2018, and the Pinewood Research Facilities have recently mastered creating multiple variants of a serum said to amplify and adjust a person's emotions. With multiple colour variations for the serum leading to different amplified emotions, it was bound to be tested on a living with rational thoughts just to find out how much of it would affect them, and the scientists have decided to test the serums on each other.
<br>It then came one summer when a Bronwyn Kokkonen just moved to the town of Goethe to get closer to the company to investigate them, as she suspects they were the culprits behind the Pythagor kidnappings. As she and a few friends have ventured towards where the company may be, they haven't been seen since, which the Goethe townsfolk have claimed was the "beginning of their problems."
It was then in January of 2020, when a young woman named Brooke Evans moved into town, to which a lot of long-residing residents have stated she acted a lot like Bronwyn from before, and feared she may repeat her actions. However, Brooke moved to Goethe to get away from the kidnapping investigations, unlike Bronwyn, as she once tried to investigate it herself before and it ended with her security being threatened by what could be the kidnappings' culprits.

* The town name, Goethe, was taken from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, a well known writer but also the author of the book "Theory of Colours" which was about the nature of colours and how humans perceive them.
** The town was originally named Lilius, after Aloysius Lilius, a philosopher who made the basis of the Gregorian calendar, to tie in with a "time theme" Al wanted to implement. However as time passed and the town had more colour themes than time themes, the town had to be renamed.
* It was confirmed by Al at one point that the town of Goethe's main theming centers around time and colours.
* Brooke and Bronwyn are meant to be written as parallels to each other, as both wanted to solve the same mysteries, but one knew when it was supposed to be time to take a break from it all, and the other wanted to know more, which ended with her missing and possibly being dead.

Goethe is a fictional town in London, and is the main setting for Lessons Unlearned's third act, The Spectral Pattern
(other info tba)
Trivia
* The town name was taken from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, a well known writer but also the author of the book "Theory of Colours" which was about the nature of colours and how humans perceive them.
** The town was originally named Lilius, after Aloysius Lilius, a philosopher who made the basis of the Gregorian calendar, to tie in with a "time theme" Al wanted to implement. However as time passed and the town had more colour themes than time themes, the town had to be renamed.

Audrey Waterworth is one of the few main protagonists of Lessons Unlearned, and is prominently featured in the story's Alpha act, Sound and Silence.
Appearance
Audrey is a young girl with apricot skin dotted with freckles, dark brown hair, and lime green eyes.
During her younger years, Audrey wore her hair in pigtails tied up by lime green ribbons, and with one side of her bangs clipped with a small clip consisting of a red and yellow circles. Her main outfit consists of a long sleeved red shirt with a yellow ribbon tied on her collar. She also wears pinkish-maroon pants and dark brown boots, one of her legs covered up in a white leg cast. Because of her cast, she always carries a wooden crutch with her.
Personality
Audrey was noted in her life to be a sweet little girl, friendly and got along with her peers easily, but she was also the clumsy type. Ever since her incident she has become much more careful lately. There is a side to her she hasn't explored yet, a side that likes playing silly jokes on her peers, but thankfully nothing too harmful comes to mind.
Backstory
There isn't much that can be said about Audrey's early childhood, only that she was the first and only born child to her parents Arthur and Amber.
Growing up, because of her parents' wealth, she was given opportunities to start off careers at a very young age. One that particularly stuck with her was that of being a child actor, and it was specifically for a live-action kids show called "Fruit Garden." She was cast along with two other girls in the show, who were around her age but slightly older, and the three quickly became friends during and out of shooting.
As the three continued with Fruit Garden, it became a great success, and a talking point of Audrey's home town Sapir. The neighbouring town Pythagor had caught wind of Fruit Garden as well and soon a fan base had started around the show.
<br>Unfortunately, after two years in production, the show had to be cancelled. Not only because of a lack of funds needed to continue with the show, but because of an accident happening to the Waterworth family that left Audrey physically and emotionally unable to continue with her acting career at the moment. She and her parents had recently been in a car crash that not only broke Audrey's leg, but also killed her father. Her mother turned out fine, though she was plagued with survivor's guilt after the death of her husband. The two then inherited an equal divide of his riches, with Audrey later inheriting his wooden walking cane, which it was made with a fine dark wood and had a small carving of an ox head as its top. She wouldn't make use of it until later in life, though, because now with her broken leg, she preferred to use a crutch instead.
Audrey was still a few months into her physical and emotional recovery when she suddenly received a letter saying she was given an opportunity to interview for another acting role to come back to her career, however, she had to take a bus leaving town for it. Being accompanied by her mother, the two were brought by the bus to an under construction fair far from Sapir, and it was about to be called "Whorf Wonderland Fair," and she was assigned to be the voice of a mascot parading it.
<br>But ever since that day, neither Audrey or Amber were seen after that.
Trivia
* Early drafts of Lessons Unlearned writing had her go by the name Alice Bennet. As her name was drastically changed to become the Audrey Waterworth nowadays, her old name was given an alternate spelling as Alys Bennett, and was given to a new character set for another story named Lächeln und Regenbogen. Said character who was given the name was renamed to Alex Fürst later on.
** Another early name for her was Alice Waterworth, until it was changed to Audrey Damona, but nowadays the Waterworth surname was returned.

Opal Padmore is one of the few main protagonists of Lessons Unlearned, and is prominently featured in the story's Beta act, Miscounted Trust.
Appearance
Prior to her canon disappearance, Opal during her younger years is a young white kid with pale skin. She has reddish-brown hair tied in pigtails, and with one part of her bangs covering her left eye, her right being visible with a brown pupil.
Her outfit consists of a light vermillion shirt with a dark brown ribbon, layered over by a light brown jacket. She also wears mahogany pants and dark brown boots.
Not much can be said about what Opal looks like as of her story's current time.
Personality
Opal is considered pretty quiet at first, tending to herself and preferring to do things on her own, but she does want to bond with people and form friendships deep inside. She has a bubbly and innocent side to herself despite her moody exterior, but it is only shared with people she considers to be close with.
<br>Despite her being the youngest of her peers, she's more often the responsible and mature one of all of them, even knowing what to do in dire situations.
Backstory
Opal's story began as she was the first and only born child of her parents Olivia Bal-Padmore and Henry Padmore. Because of Olivia's closeness with her sister Eunice at the time, Opal grew together with her cousin Wendy, and the two then formed a sisterly bond.
One day, when both the Bal-Padmore and Bal-Rey families were having a picnic in a park together, and because of Olivia's negligence, Opal had wandered off from the picnic, strolling around the grassy hills plains. However, she had tripped herself and fell face-first into the ground, where her eye was cut by a sharp rock. Her cries of pain from the injury were enough to get the attention of her family, who quickly rushed her to the hospital to patch her up. Her eye was too severely damaged to be solved by just patching up, so they had to perform enucleation on the young girl.
Opal was later given a prosthetic eye after the procedure. Even with the prosthetic eye, she has developed the tendency to cover up the area of her lost eye with her bangs.
<br>Despite her injury, Opal's childhood was mostly alright, with her aunt and uncle being the ones to take care of her while her parents were mostly absent because of their work. Due to this, Opal resented her parents for being absent for the majority of her life and considered Eunice to be more of a mother figure to her than Olivia.
At one point she befriended a girl named Zoey, whom they were close friends with along with Wendy, but the friendship was abruptly ended when the family was reported to be missing one day.
<br>Opal then grew up and attended high school, where she started to befriend a boy in her class named Tulio. She made a few other friends but notably shared a connection with a student a couple of grade levels higher than her, Niall Holt, of their shared experience with their parents' neglect.
But one autumn came the day Opal was suddenly taken by people in a white van to somewhere outside of town. Investigations started for her kidnapping initially, but one by one other students of the school she attended were starting to get taken away as well.
<br>Despite her and the others being missing for five years now, there was pressure from the townsfolk to not declare their disappearances a cold case, since they still have hope that they're out there somewhere.

Rena Morgan is one of the few main protagonists of Lessons Unlearned, and is prominently featured in the story's Gamma act, The Spectral Pattern.
Appearance
Rena is a white woman with apricot skin and dark brown eyes. She also has long auburn hair tied into a ponytail, the sides of her bangs clipped with a hot pink heart clip.
Her outfit consists of her wearing a yellow vest and a pink bowtie over an off-white, collared, long sleeved shirt, along with a pink skirt, long white socks, and maroon boots.
Personality
Rena has always been presented as one of the few people able to give everyone in Lilius joy, as seen by her presenting as her usual, cheerful and excitable self, though she is prone to getting angry easily, especially when someone mistakes her for being younger than she is because of her short stature and high-pitched voice.

While she is confirmed to appear as one of the protagonists, there isn't much written for her yet.
Trivia
* One of her initial written concepts was that of a faceless woman named "Ms. Ruĝa," and was said to be an investigator. This was changed drastically and now ended up as the Rena today.
** Her initial surname, "Ruĝa," is literally just the word for "red" in Esperanto.
* Her name used to be Ruby, but Al thought Rena fit her better.
* Her main palette was much redder before, with her vest being a salmon pink and her ribbon, skirt, and heart clip all sharing the same crimson hue. Al changed it up because her sporting a more analogous and monotonous colour palette will be "plot relevant later on." Despite this, her assigned colour continues to be red, and her current gold yellow and hot pink palette is actually meant to reference the colour red's components in the CMYK colour model, being yellow and magenta.
** A similar sort of palette change and reasons for doing so was also applied to Yvo, Greta, Bello, and Percy.
